Leh Autonomous Hill Development Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB) which was initially attached with Deputy Commissioner Office Leh. Later w.e.f. 1986 it has been associated with District Employment and Counselling Centre, LAHDC, Leh with the Deputy Director Employment as Secretary, LAHD-SSRB.

The LAHD-SSRB constituted under Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh (Subordinate Services Recruitment) Regulations, 1996 for the recruitment to all District cadre non-gazetted posts under Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of Leh.

Board members comprise of Deputy Commissioner/ CEO, LAHDC Leh as Chairman LAHD-SSRB Leh, Deputy Director District Employment and Counseling Centre, Leh as Secretary, LAHD-SSRB, Nominated Member LAHD-SSRB and Head of the Department concerned as Members.
